Thursday, April 20  — 6 p.m. – Rockville Public Library – “A Tribute to Vicky Nordland -master teacher and poet. Reception and book sale to follow! Hosted by Pegi Deitz-Shea, Poet Laureate of Vernon. Readings by Professor John Stanizzi and Inaugural Poet Laureate Pegi Deitz Shea, Vernon Poet Laureate Caitlin Chatterton. And of course, our featured poet Vicky Nordlund will also read.

Saturday, April 22 – Poetry Reading featuring Deb Gilbert and John L. Stanizzi. We will be launching our new titles — Debbie’s new book is imagine the small bones and my new title is Feathers and Bones. This reading will be held at the Hoppin Gallery/Barney Library, 711 Main Street, Farmington. The reading is free and begins at 1 p.m.

April 26, 2023 at 6 P.M.- Join us at the Raymond Library in East Hartford.  Celebrate “April – National Poetry Month,” with poets Marilyn Johston, Elizabeth Thomas, Jane Schneeloch, and John L. Stanizzi.  Book sale to follow the reading.

Connecticut Artist Fellowships – the Month of March — Curated by Tamari Dmitri, Program Specialist, Art in Public Spaces & Grants 

CT Office of the Arts. We received just over 400 submissions and from a wide range of artistic disciplines. This means, of course, many reviewers working with several hundred artists from across the disciplines.  I am very happy and proud to be a peer reviewer for the Artist Fellowship program, and I’m really looking forward to getting started.
